Senior Civil Infrastructure and Earthworks Engineer

As a pivotal member of BBA Consultants, the Senior Civil Infrastructure and Earthworks Engineer will engage in a variety of engineering projects, encompassing feasibility assessments, design, and field execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of design and engineering documentation production.
- Contribute to the development of civil and utility schematics.
- Design access routes, subsurface services (including sewers, aqueducts, and fire protection systems), drainage solutions, and earthworks within sectors such as mining, energy, and petrochemicals.
- Optimize site layouts and select preferred configurations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Draft construction plans and specifications for civil engineering works.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill enhancement within the team.
- Coordinate efforts with senior civil engineers and technicians, as well as other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure quality control of deliverables produced by engineers and technicians.
- Evaluate engineering hours and develop project proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure design, including roads, underground utility networks, drainage systems, and earthworks.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Familiarity with Civil3D software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to undertake short-term assignments at client locations as well as site visits.
- Demonstrated history of delivering projects with high technical standards and exceeding client expectations.
- Hands-on experience in mine site infrastructure and design.
- A diverse portfolio of experience in industrial and mining projects.
