About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1498403 Ontario Inc. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
    • Hire, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
    • Authorize payments, order merchandise, and resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and that stockroom is organized and clean.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Store Operations
    • Establish and maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are met.
    • Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring that they are within budget.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a retail environment is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
