About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ECE Assistant to join our team at Kindertots Child Care Centre. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and ensuring the well-being and development of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Care
    • Assess and monitor the development of children to create personalized learning plans.
    • Provide high-quality care and support to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
    • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Team Collaboration and Support
    • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs and activities.
    • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Administrative and Organizational Tasks
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
    • Assist in maintaining records and reports.
    • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Certifications
    • Other trades certificate or diploma.
    • First Aid Certificate.
    • CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Punctuality and dependability.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
