Job Title: ECE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Kindertots Child Care Centre. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and ensuring the well-being and development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise and engage children in activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Assist with daily routines, such as bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and organizing the play area.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure the smooth transition of children between home and childcare.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
