Retail Business Manager Job Description

The Retail Business Manager is a key client service position responsible for driving business growth and delivering results. This role engages directly with clients to understand their goals and challenges, and develops retail programs and services that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth with existing clients and foster new business opportunities within a portfolio of assigned clients.
  • Partner with the Syndicated Retail sales team and Internal Operations leaders to develop action-oriented retail strategies that deliver results.
  • Outline data reporting requirements, analyze business results, and report key insights to shape future strategy.
  • Manage communication between clients and retail teams, and monitor and communicate with key stakeholders on new product introductions, programming changes, training initiatives, and special needs.
  • Respond to and resolve issues in a timely manner, balancing customer satisfaction, quality, and relevance.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of account management or operation/management experience in a broker environment or any similar combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and proven success in relationship building and management.
  • Experience developing, tracking, and monitoring cross-functional processes, requiring a proficiency in Excel.
  • Bilingual in English and French preferred but not required.
