Scope of Position

In light of a planned leadership transition, we are seeking an experienced VP Finance and Operations to ensure that our systems, processes, and operations are aligned with our growth plans. This role reports directly to the President and is responsible for strategic and day-to-day financial matters, as well as finance team leadership.

The successful candidate will lead and support human resources, IT, supply chain, and other operational areas critical to our success. They will work collaboratively to provide strong leadership while continually enhancing policies and practices to meet our organizational needs.

Functional Tasks

  • Plan and direct operational priorities, goals, policies, practices, and initiatives in alignment with the President's goals and strategic direction
  • Recommend and participate in policy development to address corporate growth and strengthen organizational processes
  • Lead and execute a strategy driving excellence across finance and operational organizations, leveraging best-of-class processes, technology, and team members to meet customer expectations
  • Participate as an engaged member of the Management Team in formulating and executing the corporate vision, strategy, and business objectives
  • Apply efficient and cost-effective operations knowledge and practices to sustain profitable day-to-day business operations meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Ensure operational milestones are met on time with high quality, meeting established objectives
  • Create a viable organizational structure optimizing financial and operational resources, technology, and systems
  • Build and facilitate strong relationships and synergies with all company areas, suppliers, and customers to achieve corporate goals, objectives, and revenue targets
  • Foster a culture of productive team spirit and innovation within short- and long-term operations
  • Inspire and lead a talented team of customer-centric focused members, helping them manage their careers and grow professionally
