At McMaster University, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team in the Department of Computing and Software Engineering (CAS). This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work on an NIH funded project focused on developing data analysis tools to unveil how the human brain encodes complex and natural stimuli using electrophysiological datasets.

The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team including researchers with Engineering, Neuroscience and Medicine background. You will be responsible for developing theoretical frameworks and implementing user-friendly analysis pipelines, primarily utilizing Python development. Experience with MEG and/or EEG is not required but would be an asset.

This role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings plans.

We are looking for applicants who are passionate about theory and algorithm development, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. If you are a motivated individual with a strong foundation in programming languages, particularly Python, we encourage you to apply.
