About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DataOps Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a DataOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our Data Science, Engineering, and Operations teams to standardize data processes and adopt industry best practices.
  • Develop and Maintain Data Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery across multiple environments.
  • Implement Automation and CI/CD: Develop and implement automation tools and CI/CD pipelines to ensure quick and reliable data deployment.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Troubleshoot data deployment issues, performance problems, and data availability outages to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Document and Maintain System Configurations: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures, including run books for live support.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance team efficiency and platform capabilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps or DataOps, and 6+ years of experience in Terraform, GitLab, SQL, Python, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, DBT, and Linux.
  • Skills: Experience in data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery), collaboration with diverse teams, design of secure, scalable, and supportable technical solutions, and troubleshooting and resolving.
