Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee customer service, sales, and merchandise processing functions in the Hardlines Department.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of price changes and price identification in designated areas.
  • Manage stockroom inventory and ensure a smooth flow of merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.
  • Communicate regularly with management on product requests, outs, hot items, and inventory concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety, loss prevention, and cash handling procedures.
Requirements:
  • College degree in business or golf management an asset.
  • 1-3 years experience in a retail environment or equivalent relevant experience. Previous management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a golf environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a keen interest in golf and regularly keeping up to date with market trends and new innovations in golf retail.
