About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fairmont Gold Supervisor to join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our guests feel welcomed, cared for, and incredible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm, anticipated service to exceed the needs and expectations of our discerning guests.
  • Perform all front desk duties, including accurately posting charges, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, auditing, and reporting.
  • Review all Fairmont Gold reservations to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Offer exceptional concierge services to guests, providing information on local attractions, restaurants, theaters, special events, and other available services and excursions.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including weekends, mornings, and evenings, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Empower colleagues to resolve guest service challenges and ensure all guest issues are tracked and followed up on to ensure service recovery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of previous front desk supervisory experience in a large hotel, preferably in a luxury setting.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Micros-Opera PROPERTY Manager, Word, and Excel.
  • Previous experience in Royal Service and/or guest recovery, with excellent recovery skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Graduate of a hotel management or hospitality program, an asset.
  • Highly organized, innovative, and results-oriented, with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solutions-oriented, strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Constant sitting, standing, and walking throughout shifts.
  • On occasion, must be physically able to lift guest luggage and assist with guest room assignments.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and possess ProServe certification.
