  • Operate ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments, maintaining their accuracy and precision.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff.
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, ensuring efficient and accurate data management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
