Job Title: Ophthalmic Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join our team at Nand K. Goel Professional Corporation. As an Ophthalmic Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our ophthalmologists in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer eye drops, ointments, and medications as directed by ophthalmologists.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks.
  • Operate ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history to provide comprehensive care.
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Health care plan.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language.
  • 34 hours per week.
