Job Title: Ophthalmic Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join our team at Nand K. Goel Professional Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals. This includes administering eye drops and medications, operating ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments, and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer eye drops and medications as directed by ophthalmologists
  • Operate ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience an asset
