Job Title: Supervisor, Painters and Decorators

Modish Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor, Painters and Decorators to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of our painters and decorators, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of painters and decorators, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard, meeting the company's quality expectations.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, and that the work environment is safe and secure.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Proficient in CADD and other computer software systems.
