We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Construction Supervisor to join our team at AWCSIT CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The General Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on site
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical ability to work in a construction environment
Work Environment:

The General Construction Supervisor will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to construction sites. The role requires the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and to lift heavy objects.
