Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Contact Centre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our Canadian Banking customers, resolving their inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized customer service to Canadian Banking customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Use your knowledge of our products and services to offer valuable advice and solutions to customers.
- Take inbound phone calls from customers and branches, providing useful information and ensuring customers are satisfied with our products and services.
- Identify customer banking needs and provide customized solutions using accessible resources and navigating multiple systems.
- Respond to complaints and walk customers through basic troubleshooting or set up processes.
Requirements
- You are passionate about customer service and have experience in customer-focused roles.
- You are self-directed, performance-oriented, and able to resolve immediate customer enquiries.
- You are comfortable connecting with customers over the telephone to make the customer experience uniquely personal and champion the Scotiabank brand.
- You have a high school diploma (or a recognized equivalent).

About the Role
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours) with a flexible work schedule. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid work model, with a combination of working from home and in the office.
