Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Professional to join our team at Tiny Steps Childcare Ltd. This role involves developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs aligned with the needs and interests of children.
  • Lead activities, including storytelling, singing, and educational outings, to promote learning and engagement.
  • Assist children in establishing healthy habits, such as eating, dressing, and toileting.
  • Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents and guardians.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, protecting the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours, promoting socialization and development.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • An Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and relevant certifications, such as First Aid and CPR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children.
Benefits

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
