About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Lead to join our team at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP). As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding projects to success, working closely with your team to design, develop, debug, and deploy software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide projects to success, working closely with your team to design, develop, debug, and deploy software solutions.
  • Develop and implement software application functionality, including user interfaces, business rules, workflows, and complex logic.
  • Work with relational databases and SQL, including modeling entity relationships.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, to present your work to stakeholders.
  • Test and deploy software solutions, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases.
  • Experience mentoring and managing teams, with a strong understanding of agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong technical skills, including data modeling, software testing, and software development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
