We are seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation Planning Services group. As a key member of the team, you will analyze and prepare Transportation Studies, Parking Studies, and Transportation Demand Management Studies for various projects, considering active transportation and vehicular traffic.
This role offers a diverse client market and service offerings, providing opportunities to utilize your problem-solving skills on multi-disciplinary projects across the business. You will work collaboratively with engineers from other departments to manage detailed traffic modeling, designs, and studies for various projects.
You will participate in project teams to identify issues and mitigative measures to satisfy approval requirements, assisting our clients in advancing projects toward completion. Your expertise will help identify and provide transportation engineering design and planning solutions with multi-modal considerations.
In this role, you will also collaborate with internal and external team members to deliver multi-disciplinary projects through preliminary and detail designs. You will develop knowledge of requirements from reviewing agencies such as the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) and municipal authorities.
Additionally, you will review and finalize technical reports and design briefs, summarize analyses, and coordinate with clients, municipalities, agencies, subconsultants, and internal disciplines involved in the project. You will also review reports and drawings for quality assurance and quality control.
This position requires strong communication and report writing skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple project timelines. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Transportation Engineering or a related degree, is required. Additionally, you must be licensed in Ontario and have at least 5 years of transportation engineering experience, preferably in a consulting engineering environment.
The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience. Crozier offers customizable health benefits packages, RRSP matching, an Employee and Family Assistance Program, Parental-Leave Top Up, and paid professional development support and training.
