We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at the Milton, Ontario manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in manufacturing process optimization and improvement. The following responsibilities include:

  • Leading training initiatives for new hires and team members, focusing on safe work practices and continuous skills development.
  • Planning and managing quality of manufacturing processes by acquiring necessary equipment, refining work instructions and SOPs, and setting safety guidelines for equipment use and maintenance.
  • Working closely with production and maintenance teams, evaluating performance, analyzing reports, and communicating regular updates based on operational data.
  • Managing CE settings as the RockFact owner of the Product Database.
  • Coordinating packaging trials and collaborating with Procurement to optimize material usage.
  • Supporting ongoing development and optimization of processes, equipment, and tools for better manufacturing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a Technologist's degree in Robotics, Automation, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, process engineering, or an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data for process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for training and support at other factory locations.
  • Advanced computer skills for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
  • Organizational and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and maintaining data accuracy.
