The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering, project management principles, and commercial contracting methods. Experience in managing conflicting priorities, solving problems, and providing guidance is essential.
A minimum of six to eight years of experience in project management, specifically in developing project requirements, plans, and cost estimates, is required. Familiarity with equipment and processes in generating stations or similar heavy industries is also necessary.
The selected candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and agencies to ensure projects meet stakeholder requirements and adhere to corporate procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project teams to develop project requirements, plans, and cost estimates.
- Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Coordinate with designers, suppliers, construction forces, and operations to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide regular project reports to senior management and coordinate meetings with stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of latest construction, budgeting, estimating, and scheduling practices.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and commercial contracting methods.
- Experience in managing complex projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with industrial retrofit (brownfield) projects, project controls, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
