About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Management Lead to join our team at SUBWAY. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing downtime.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required; however, further education or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff to achieve their best. Must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
  • Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
