Job Opportunity: Team Leader - Home Support Services

We are seeking a motivated and organized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with recent supervisory experience to join our team as a Team Leader in Penticton, B.C.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LPN to develop and enhance their first-line supervisory skill-set. As a Team Leader, you will coordinate Home Support Services by supervising LPNs, Community Health Workers, and other unregulated team members. You will oversee the implementation of client care plans, provide training and evaluation of care provided by staff, and advocate for changes that improve client care.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate Home Support Services
  • Oversee the implementation of client care plans
  • Provide training and evaluation of care provided by staff
  • Advocate for changes that improve client care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to perform assessments, make nursing diagnoses, and implement personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting
Requirements

This is a casual position, which means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements may vary each week. Once hired into a casual role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent part-time or full-time positions. The hourly wage for this position will be $34.20 to $42.79, effective April 1, 2024.
