Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Apple Creek Donuts Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in food preparation, customer service, and safety procedures.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that our products meet the expectations of our customers.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ingredients, supplies, and equipment, to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance, as well as manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Fast-paced coffee shop environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a client-focused approach.
