About the Role:

The Team Lead - Food Service Management will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as requisitioning food and kitchen supplies. They will also be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Additionally, the Team Lead - Food Service Management will be responsible for preparing budget and cost estimates, addressing customers' complaints or concerns, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and preparing food order summaries for the chef.

This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
