Salary:

$53/hour to upwards based on experience, plus eligibility for incentives (up to 7.5% of regular base earnings)

Job Overview:

This role plays an essential part in the quality and safety of our patients' medications.

  • Provide pharmacy clinical and patient management services to Calgary Co-op members and other patients
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service experiences for our members and customers
Responsibilities:
  1. Providing all professional services within the Alberta Health Pharmacy Services Framework
  2. Promoting, organizing and conducting in-store clinic days or public forums in pharmacy areas of practice
  3. Training and development of other pharmacists in a certification area of practice
  4. Presentations to other team members, patients or external community liaisons
  5. Providing pharmacy department programs to meet sales objectives for professional services rendered and increase prescription volume
  6. Promoting marketing and adherence programs and implementing to increase pharmacy department sales
  7. Promoting specialized services and pharmacists within the local and business community and healthcare environments
  8. Assisting in the development and/or organization continuing education events for pharmacy staff required for licensure
  9. Assisting with development of protocols and best practices for certified pharmacy staff
  10. Responsible for a minimum of eight centres
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.Sc. or Pharm. D.)
  • Licensed and registered with Alberta College of Pharmacists
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as a licensed pharmacist
  • Authorization to Administer Medications by Injection
  • Knowledge of provincial, federal, and company policies and procedures
