About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Olds Oasis Organic Inc. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement soil fertility programs to maintain optimal soil health and crop yields.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
  • Maintain quality control and production records to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Hire and train staff to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
