At Olds Oasis Organic Inc., we are seeking an experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the highest quality produce is harvested and delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Implement and maintain soil fertility programs
- Perform general farm duties, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting
- Ensure quality control and production records are maintained
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
Requirements:
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physical demands of the job include standing, walking, and combination of sitting and standing
- Organized and team player with attention to detail
