About Our Product

Our product serves as both a digital wallet and a portal to the decentralized web. We empower individuals to build communities, engage in gaming, access financial services, execute transactions, invest in assets, and safeguard against economic instability. Our browser extension and mobile applications cater to the needs of millions of users and developers globally.

Initially designed as a simple key management tool, our product now supports over 30 million active users each month as a platform for decentralized application development, an aggregator of decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges, and a decentralized identity management solution.

Role Overview

In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in shaping Hard Yaka's developer strategy, focused on simplifying the experience for Web3 developers both within and outside our organization. Your contributions will play a crucial role in the long-term growth of our product by designing and implementing our Web3 APIs, which are essential to our comprehensive developer strategy.

As a Lead Product Strategist, you will oversee a dedicated team responsible for the exploration, design, execution, and launch of Web3 APIs. These APIs encompass transaction history, balances, pricing, token management, spam detection, gas pricing, and much more, utilized by our internal platforms and soon by external developers as well.

This team collaborates closely with our Data Management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead product development for our developer strategy, from API discovery to concept and launch
  • Promote API adoption and user retention
  • Align teams and stakeholders around a unified vision connected to broader strategy
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and analysts
  • Conduct user research to validate assumptions and guide development
  • Anticipate user needs, product trends, and market shifts
  • Define, measure, and analyze user feedback, product growth, and business outcomes
  • Shape and refine your product roadmap; translate vision into actionable strategy through discovery
  • Manage backlogs, plan sprints, conduct retrospectives, and remove obstacles for your team

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3-5+ years of experience in software product management, preferably with developer-facing products
  • Strong technical background (development experience is highly preferred)
  • Deep passion and interest in Web3 and blockchain technologies
  • Solid understanding of Ethereum and smart contract mechanics
  • Familiarity with methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Notion, Figma, GitHub, MixPanel)
  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and organizational skills
  • Data-driven, user-centric, and analytical mindset
  • Methodical prioritization and problem-solving abilities
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a growth mindset; self-motivated, continuously learning, and striving for improvement
  • Collaborative team player, inclusive leader, open to feedback, and transparent in intentions.
