About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at REAL Residence Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene and comfort.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring resident safety.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities and conversations to promote social interaction.
  • Light Exercise: Assist residents with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain physical mobility and well-being.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as laundry, linen management, and shopping for groceries and household supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
