About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at REAL Residence Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Companionship: Engage residents in activities, provide emotional support, and promote social interaction.
  • Health and Wellness: Assist with exercise programs, provide guidance on healthy eating, and promote overall well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker at REAL Residence Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, and walk, with occasional lifting of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
