About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at REAL (Rest Easy Assisted Living) Residence Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and monitor residents' medication regimens.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Engage residents in activities and provide social support to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor residents' health and safety, reporting any concerns or incidents to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
