Job Opportunity: Abandonment & Reclamation - Engineering Student

We are seeking a motivated engineering student to join our Development Operations team at Canadian Natural Resources Limited. As a student engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals and contribute to meaningful, diverse, and ambitious assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support an engineering team through data acquisition and analysis for optimization projects, well records reviews, and ongoing operations and engineering support.
  • Acquire hands-on experience with industry software programs, including Siteview, Accumap, and Tableau.
  • Gain exposure to all aspects of well operations, including drilling, completions, well servicing, and well abandonment.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an engineering degree program, preferably in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Energy, or Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines.
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent out of province license.
  • Motivated, collaborative, organized, and able to manage competing priorities.
