Intermediate Surface Land Administrator

We're seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Surface Land Administrator to join our team at Paramount Resources Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta.
This role will be responsible for the completion of various tasks pertaining to the life cycle of land acquisition within Alberta, including project kick offs, processing of acquisition packages, reviewing and completing freehold/crown monthly rentals, reclamation and abandonment of surface assets, and analyzing surface land agreements, titles, and documents.
The successful candidate will possess a Land Administration certificate from an accredited institution, 5-7 years of related industry experience, and a solid understanding of land documents, applicable legislation, and regulations in accordance with AER, AEP, and OGC guidelines.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Project coordination and processing of acquisition packages
- Reviewing and completing freehold/crown monthly rentals
- Reclamation and abandonment of surface assets
- Analyzing surface land agreements, titles, and documents
- Ensuring proper payment to landowners and occupants
- Coordination of special projects (i.e. renewals/replacements)
- Surface Land liaison between stakeholders, including brokers, landowners, surveyors, construction, governmental representatives, drilling, engineering, and HSE
- Assembly of Surface Land records, including invoice coding
- Problem solving and actively reporting progress and problems to Manager, Surface Land
- Maintaining internal reports and status reports for area of responsibility
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
