Job Overview:

Far Niente Wine Estates, a leader in luxury wine production, seeks a Sales District Manager to join its team. This role involves overseeing sales operations in a defined market to achieve established sales goals and distributor objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide sales management and coverage within the geographic market.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with distributors and key accounts to drive sales.
  3. Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor information, and product placement to inform sales strategies.
  4. Collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop and implement sales incentives and support programs.
  5. Represent the luxury wine portfolio with pride and professionalism.

Requirements:
  1. 5 years of experience in distributor, wholesale, or supplier-related wine sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and distribution goals.
  2. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
  3. Strong knowledge of the industry in the assigned market.
  4. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of adopting new technology and software.
  6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  7. Clean DMV record.
  8. Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, and kneel.
  9. Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds.
  10. Must reside in the market assigned.
