Job Title: Sales Territory Manager

About the Role:

As a Sales Territory Manager at Far Niente Wine Estates, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within a defined market to ensure the attainment of established sales goals and distributor objectives. You will work closely with our Regional Manager to develop and manage sales incentives and support programs to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide sales management and coverage within the geographic market
* Build upon existing distributor and key account relationships to gain access and exposure
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge on competitor information, product placement, and market trends to set up pricing and sales programs that drive sales
* Assist Regional Manager in developing and managing sales incentives and support programs to ensure achievement of annual objectives

Requirements:

* 5 years distributor, wholesale, or supplier-related wine sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and distribution goals
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a related field or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of the industry in the assigned market
* Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of adopting new technology and software
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups
* Clean DMV record
* Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, and kneel
* Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds
* Must reside in the market assigned
