Software Asset Management Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Asset Management Engineer to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Solutions: Develop and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in a large enterprise environment, ensuring alignment with enterprise security requirements and standards.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IAM during project lifecycle, including development, testing, and implementation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from upstream and downstream systems to ensure proposed solutions meet technical and security standards or frameworks.
- Application Onboarding: Onboard and support enterprise-wide applications integrated with IAM solutions.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate, perform root cause analysis, and resolve system problems during standard work hours and/or assigned on-call hours.
- Reporting: Report to the Principal Solution Architect.
- Software Engineering Experience: 10+ years of working experience as a Software Engineer.
- Microsoft Entra ID Experience: 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access in a large enterprise environment.
- Identity Management Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with technologies related to web access management, authentication, single sign-on authorization, and identity lifecycle management, such as SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, LDAP, MFA, REST, and API Gateway integration.
- DevOps Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and understanding of Java and web application development.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of technologies related to cloud computing, Windows server operating system, directory system, networking, and system monitoring.
- Microsoft Certifications: Microsoft certifications related to Entra ID or MS security.
- Security Certifications: Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GISF, GSEC.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Superior problem-solving skills to resolve work issues with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication both verbal and written and good interpersonal skills to build relationships with business partners.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is an asset.
