Job SummaryThe Asset Manager will assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining key performance metrics and analytical models for Centurion Property Associates Inc. This role involves conducting market research, identifying operational inefficiencies, and recommending strategies for revenue enhancement and value creation.
Responsibilities- Conduct local market research for a national portfolio of multi-family residential apartment buildings and student housing communities.
- Asset manage third-party property management companies, monitor and identify areas of property operational inefficiencies, key performance indicators, business trends, and abnormal variances.
- Prepare annual operating and capital expenditure budgets and oversee the performance of 3rd party assets in Canada and USA according to the approved operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
- 3-5 years' analytical experience, preferably within residential asset management.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to multi-task.
- Highly motivated and able to take the initiative required to excel in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Excellent command of MS Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Working experience with Yardi property management software is a plus.
