About the RoleThe Parking Enforcement Ambassador will be responsible for monitoring municipal parking lots and city street parking for time infractions. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with customers and providing information about parking facilities and surrounding areas. You will also be responsible for assisting customers with issues related to mobile phones and pay-by-phone apps.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor municipal parking lots and city street parking for time infractions
- Provide information to customers about parking facilities and surrounding areas
- Assist customers with issues related to mobile phones and pay-by-phone apps
- Enforce parking bylaws across the city of Hamilton
- Conduct regular patrols in municipal car parks and private property
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Competitive hourly rate of $20.80 per hour
- Full-time position with on-the-job training
- Municipal Law Enforcement Officer (MLEO) certification provided
- Uniform provided
- Benefits after three months
