We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Old Oak Properties. As a key member of our Development team, you will be responsible for overseeing various restoration and refurbishment projects across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and ensure the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of construction and development projects.
- Direct subcontractors, consultants, and site foremen to ensure they fulfill their contractual obligations.
- Facilitate the exchange of information between the owner, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, bodies of authority, and tenants in a professional, concise, and timely fashion.
- Create and maintain a detailed project budget and schedule to ensure project execution.
- Schedule all required labour, materials, and equipment with site foremen.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Maintain/update project task lists with other project staff.
- Complete site inspections and walkthroughs as required.
- Review schedules, workmanship, safety, project resources, and training with on-site staff.
- Post-secondary education in construction, project management, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in the construction industry in a management role.
- Advanced computer skills with software such as Microsoft Office programs.
- A valid G driver's license and a clean driving abstract.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, navigate uneven ground, climb stairs, perform minor physical duties, see and hear well in changing conditions.
Project Managers work full-time Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Some overtime may be required under special circumstances related to specific activities on-site/to ensure project completion.
LanguageEnglish is the primary language required for this role.
