PRA Group Canada is seeking a skilled Collections Agent to join our team. As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound telephone calls related to consumer files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate repayment solutions on outstanding accounts through a combination of automatic dialer system and manual dialing
  • Offer existing customers new repayment solutions, when appropriate, and guide customers to resume payment plans
  • Handle sensitive customer situations in a professional and respectful manner
  • Verify and update account information once contact has been made with the right party
  • Effectively manage the system of record
  • Meet established revenue and other performance targets monthly

What You Will Bring:

  • Goal-oriented with strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer literate—strong keyboarding and internet navigation skills
  • Flexibility to work within operating hours (days, one evening shift per week)
  • Previous sales experience in a high volume, metrics-driven, transactional environment
  • Customer-focused
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (business, legal, credit) is preferred
  • French language skills (verbal and written) required
