">Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Long-Term Care Quality Specialist to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. This role will be responsible for providing support to RAI-Coordinators to ensure that RAI MDS care meets and/or exceeds organizational and provincial health authority requirements. The successful candidate will also lead care community-wide improvement processes/projects as directed, assist in coaching care community RAI Coordinators, and conduct quality audits to determine effectiveness of services provided.
">Key Responsibilities:

- In collaboration with the Director of Quality, Executive Director and DOC, provide follow-up and support to RAI-Coordinators in order to ensure that RAI MDS care meets and/or exceeds the organization's and provincial health authority requirements.">
- Lead care community-wide improvement processes/projects as directed and in consultation with the Director of Quality and RAI-MDS Coordinators.">
- Assist and coach care community RAI Coordinators and clinical leaders to improve processes, strategies and activities in relation to RAI-MDS processes through the provision of education and orientation.">
- In collaboration with the RAI Coordinators support the generation, interpretation, and response to RAI-MDS quality indicators outcome reports.">
- Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly quality audits in the care communities to determine effectiveness of services provided and assist in setting directions for change.">
- Review business performance on a monthly basis via monthly audits and on a quarterly basis via data quality reports, collaborating with team members to identify RAI-MDS quality successes and opportunities for improvement.">
- Review all data quality audits with RAI Coordinators prior to quarterly data submission.">
- Share monthly PCC data and quarterly CIHI data with RAI Coordinators and clinical leaders via monthly and quarterly reports.">
- Participate in the orientation of care community's RAI Coordinators.">
- Lead monthly RAI Coordinator meetings to foster positive relationships, support joint problem-solving, provide education, and align with strategic directions.">
- Support care communities with developing back-up RAI-MDS processes, ensuring sustainability and coverage during vacancies of RAI Coordinator roles.">
- Provide subject-matter expertise for the development of required RAI MDS program, policies and procedures based on current evidence.">
- Participate on community, educational or long-term care committees as required.">
- Prepare documented site visit reviews and distribute as appropriate.">
- Provide recommendations regarding training and education beneficial to the care communities and the organization as a whole.">
Requirements:
">The ideal candidate will hold a current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and/or Health care professional, preferably with a minimum of three years' experience. A minimum of two years' experience in Long-Term care or equivalent is also required. Ability to write and analyze reports, initiate, monitor and evaluate Benchmarking projects is essential. Proficiency with the RAI-MDS process, quality indicators and case mix index (CMI) is also necessary. Ability to travel in Ontario – access to a reliable vehicle and valid G license is required (mileage reimbursement applies).
">Compensation:
">The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous retirement savings plan.
