About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced QC Supervisor to join our team at Miller Paving Limited in Halifax. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing of asphalt materials and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate testing schedules with project managers and contractors
- Lead a team of technicians conducting asphalt testing at our plants
- Provide guidance on testing procedures and ensure team understanding
- Collect and analyze asphalt samples from construction sites and plants
- Generate reports based on findings and communicate results to stakeholders
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience with asphalt testing
- Civil technician background or equivalent experience
- Leadership experience
