Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Deirdre Spencer. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, honesty, and a strong sense of values and ethics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
