Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Success Solutions Home Care Agency Ltd. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the client's physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist with medication administration, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain the client's physical health.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring the client's basic needs are met.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the client's home, providing care and support in a one-on-one setting. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will need to work with clients of varying ages and abilities.
