Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Lucia Richardson Home Care. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting and mobility
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Setting

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the client's home, providing one-on-one care and support. You will be required to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Language

The primary language spoken in this role is English.
