Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Quality Inn Bracebridge.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of our motel facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Language

English is the primary language of communication.

Hours of Work

35 to 40 hours per week.
