Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Quality Inn Bracebridge. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our motel and providing excellent service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to address any issues that may arise
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary materials are on hand
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Dependability and reliability
Work Environment:

Our motel is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and we require our Building Maintenance Worker to be able to work effectively in this setting. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to work in confined spaces or at heights.
