About the Role
As a key member of our team, the Purchasing Manager will oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring seamless execution and optimal performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing team members to achieve performance goals.
- Develop strategic purchasing initiatives to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with organizational objectives.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.
Requirements
- Relevant certification in procurement or supply chain management.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a purchasing manager.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and development skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
