Job Summary

We are seeking an Insurance Representative, Level 2 to join our team at Coastal Community. As an Insurance Representative, you will provide support to clients in the promotion of all insurance products and services and in the processing of insurance related transactions for personal lines, automobile insurance, and some commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process insurance related transactions, including policy renewals, cancellations, and changes.
  • Assist clients in selecting the most suitable insurance products and services to meet their needs.
  • Respond to client reports concerning loss or damage to facilitate the processing of claims.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.

Requirements

  • Applicable licensing concurrent with position (consideration will be given to individuals with a Level 1 license and experience).
  • Advanced knowledge of personal lines insurance.
  • Working knowledge of commercial insurance.
  • The ability to take over a book of renewals.
  • Advanced ICBC experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A willingness to pursue continuous learning opportunities.
